Backup & Ransomware Recovery

Most ransomware victims have backups. They just don't have backups that work. We verify yours actually restore, set up off-site immutable copies, and write down the recovery runbook before you need it.

Who it's for

Any business with critical files, line-of-business applications, or regulated data — especially if backups haven't been tested in the last 90 days.

Frequently Asked Questions

We have Microsoft 365 — isn't that already backed up?
No. Microsoft replicates data for availability but does not protect against deletion, ransomware, or retention errors. You need a third-party backup.
How often should backups be tested?
Quarterly at minimum. We bake testing into the service so it actually happens.
What's an immutable backup?
A backup copy that can't be modified or deleted, even by an administrator, for a defined period. It's the single best defense against ransomware that targets backups.

Why it matters for Eastern PA small businesses

Ransomware crews now target backups first — encrypting or deleting them before locking your files, so paying feels like the only option. Immutable off-site copies and regularly tested restores take that leverage away. For most Eastern Pennsylvania small businesses, a verified backup is the single cheapest insurance policy against a business-ending week.
